Aztil AC was great. My AC stopped working midday and I called my original installer (sticker on the AC said 24hr emergency service) they said tomorrow - late morning early afternoon. As a customer with a current maintenance contract I will never understand why a oar t that costs between $25 and $30 dollars should have a cost of (including labor) of $300.00
Look, every business should be able to make make money and pay proper wages and overhead but when a customer has a contract and a part costs $30.00 maybe plus tax and shipping, do the math.. Being in the construction business over 41 years I understand labor costs and benefit packages and so on but a contract customer to pay $300 for a 30 dollar part and 35 minutes of labor. Honestly I can’t see a future with a company at these rates. Maybe it’s common for a non contractual customer.

Aztil Update: Just had Aztil come in to service my AC as well as install a new water heater. They are the best and that is why I use them and continue to recommend them. The technicians were Tino, Angel and Yusnier and they were fabulous. They were excellent and very professional, personable and extremely efficient. Toni did a fantastic job! I believe he also did a very thorough job in all areas of our AC unit. He advised us of some areas of our unit that was building up mold and what needed to be done. The concern I had was why no other techs that come out every 6 months hadn’t brought this to our attention. Aztil has always been a very reliable and professional company, and Nico was a terrific and professional technician who was able to diagnose our problem. We were just surprised that our out-of-pocket was almost $2000 even with a maintenance contract and a warranty on the compressor.

We just had our A/C unit serviced by Michael King who was terrific and fixed our drain clog. He was friendly, professional and made a great recommendation to fix our drain clog long term to avoid future headaches. He installed the new Drain IV in the same visit. Highly recommend and we are hopeful that this solution will truly give us peace of mind.
