Spring is officially here, and summer is just around the corner. While some of us may still be wearing sweaters, we all know that the mercury is about to soar. This makes this the perfect time to schedule a professional tune-up for your air conditioning unit. This increases efficiency and reduces the risk of your AC system failing. What’s an HVAC Tune-up?

An HVAC tune-up is a comprehensive maintenance service performed on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance as warmer weather approaches. Typically conducted before the summer season, it involves inspecting, cleaning, and adjusting various components of the HVAC system, including filters, coils, thermostats, and ductwork. Additionally, technicians may lubricate moving parts, check refrigerant levels, and test system controls for efficiency and safety.

The Value of a Spring Tune-up

Maximizing Efficiency

More than half of your energy use is for heating and air conditioning. Your A/C bill is, of course, impacted by your local climate but also by the design of your home and the design and age of your HVAC system.

Lack of maintenance reduces the efficiency of your air conditioning system, increasing your bills and your carbon footprint. A proper spring tune-up means that our technicians will inspect and clean the coils, filters, blower motor, and other components. We can, of course, also monitor how worn your system is getting and when it might be worth considering replacement.

Improving Indoor Air Quality

Over time, dust, pollen, and other contaminants build up on your filters and in other parts of your system. Cleaning your system removes this accumulation, improves indoor air quality, and reduces allergy and asthma symptoms. Don’t forget to change your filters as the manufacturer has recommended. It’s typically every 90 days, but it can be more often if you have allergies and/or pets.

You can also ask the technician about improvements you might consider, especially if somebody in your family has nasty indoor allergy symptoms. You may be able to upgrade your filters or other components to further reduce dust and pollen in your home.

On /11/10 at 5:30 I had a service visit from Dana, My ac had a leak and eventually shut down. I cant say enough about his great attitude and knowledge. A/C thermostat kept rebooting and indicated the condisation pipe may be clogged. Called an a short time later Antonio, the tech, arrived. Antonio was a godsend no more sweating and feeling nauseous, my air conditioner is working and if possible, even colder than before! 11/6/25 - I had the AeroSeal duct sealing process done today, and Jordan and Skylar were great. Jordan explained the whole process before they started and they answered my (many) questions throughout. It takes about 3-4 hours and the guys covered our furniture in the vent areas, checked for mold/dirt in the ducts, cleaned them all out, then applied the AreoSeal spray. The leakage was reduced significantly when completed - the air flow in the room at the end of the duct run was greatly improved.
Both techs were helpful throughout , right down to cleaning up the minor debris from the vent covers when done. I’d definitely recommend Aztil and Jordan & Skylar for this process.

10/21/25 - Our tech, Elder, provided great service along with good information on how to maintain my HVAC system since we’re not here full time.
He resolved the error I was receiving which shut my system down and explained how to prevent it. Thanks Elder!
